The most international of Rio Grande do Norte Beaches, Pipa is one of the five most visited destinations in the state and certainly one of the most famous beaches of northeastern Brazil. This fame comes from the 70's, when it became an obligatory stop for 'alternative' travelers, backpackers and tourists in search of adventure, and a meeting point for young people of Natal, Recife, Fortaleza and Joao Pessoa.

Thus, Pipa became famous beach with vibrant nightlife, without losing the charm of its natural beauty: Cliffs, calm waters, the Ecological Sanctuary, the wealth of preserved Atlantic Forest, the charm of Love Beach and the grace of Madeiro Beach are other attractions that makes Pipa a passage almost mandatory for tourists who travel to Rio Grande do Norte.

Another unique feature is the variety of restaurants: walking down the main street of Pipa is like making a tour of the culinary world - bars and restaurants offer the widest choice. Cultural diversity is another mark of this place. In Pipa is possible to find the most diverse artistic styles: painting, sculpture, crafts, artwork, precious and semiprecious stones, swimwear, lace and embroidery.
