• Booking – It must be requested in writing, expressly mentioning the pretended services and the respective dates; the acceptance of booking will also be in writing, specifying the services, respective dates, prices and payment terms.
• Booking Changes – It must be made in writing, expressly mentioning the pretended changes; the acceptance of changes will depend on the availability of the hotel and will also be reported in writing, specifying the changes, eventual price changes and payment terms.
• Booking Cancellation – Any cancellation must be reported with 24 hours in advance of the arrival date.
• No show or Cancellation with less than 24 hours in advance – In these cases, it will be charged the first night in full.

Gouveia is a beautiful mountain city in the center of Portugal, situated on the western slopes of Serra da Estrela, standing out 700 meters above sea level, with  a wonderful panorama over Mondego Valley, and all the beautiful surrounding nature.
Gouveia has a proud heritage, with many monuments, churches ((Igreja “S. Pedro”, “Convento de Francisco”, Igreja da Misericórdia - church, chapel “Sr. do Calvário”), ) manor house, old traditional mountain roads, streets full of stories and traditions.
Nature is one of Gouveia great assets, with beautiful green spaces and some different leisure venues such as the Biological Park, having equally beautiful spots such as “Monte Calvário”, the  “Miradouro do Paixotão”, “Curral do Negro”, “Parque Senhora dos Verdes” and “Vale do Rossim”.

Our restaurant is no exception and is able to combine a kindness service with good mountain food: several delicacies are able to create mouth-watering plates such as Serrano sausage with sprouts, trout stuffed with ham, and we could not forget to mention our famous Duck rice or mashed bread with sausage. If you are travelling from South you should exit the A1 at Coimbra, then take IP3 towards Viseu until the exit for IC12 Nelas. In Nelas and later on in Seia (N17), follow the Gouveia direction on the same road.

If you are travelling from North you should exit the A1 at Albergaria and follow A25 towards Viseu / Vilar Formoso, until Mangualde exit, where you should take the Gouveia direction
